How many people fit in a KTV room? Sizes explained
Quick answer
KTVs usually grade rooms by headcount: small rooms for about 2–6 people, medium 6–12, large 12–20, and VIP or party rooms for 20 or more. Each venue differs a little, so the safest move is to give the exact headcount when booking.
Picking the wrong room size is the most common KTV booking mistake: too big wastes money, too small and nobody can sing. Here is how venues usually grade their rooms.
Common room sizes
Small rooms (about 2–6 people) suit couples or small groups. Medium rooms (6–12) are the usual pick for colleagues. Large rooms (12–20) have wrap-around sofas and a big screen. VIP or party rooms (20+) usually have a separate seating area and stronger sound, good for company parties.
Choose by occasion
For business guests, go one size up so everyone sits comfortably. For a birthday, tell the venue ahead so they can set a cake table. Big group on a budget: pick the exact size and go early, usually cheaper than late weekend slots.
Why the headcount matters
The price follows the room size. Under-count and you may have to switch rooms on arrival, with large rooms sold out on weekend nights; over-count and you pay for seats nobody uses. Send us the exact headcount and we hold the right room.
