First time at a KTV in Saigon: 6 things to know

Updated

Quick answer

First KTV night in Saigon: (1) pick the area first — Trung Son for Chinese-speaking business guests, District 1 near hotels, District 5 / Cho Lon for lower prices; (2) ask whether billing is per hour or per room (hourly from 200.000đ/hour); (3) give the exact headcount so the room fits; (4) book ahead on Friday and Saturday nights; (5) show your driver the Vietnamese address; (6) room prices exclude drinks.

If this is your first KTV night in Saigon — hosting clients, out with colleagues or friends — these six points keep price, room and transport free of surprises.

1. Pick the area before the venue

Saigon has three KTV clusters: Trung Son (8 venues, the largest Chinese-speaking hub), District 1 (10, near downtown hotels) and District 5 / Cho Lon (9). Hosting partners from China or Taiwan: Trung Son. Quick ride back to the hotel: District 1. Chinese dinner first: District 5.

2. Per hour or per room

KTVs in Vietnam bill one of two ways: by the hour, or per room for the evening. Hourly venues in our list charge 200.000đ to 3.050.000đ per hour. Per-room venues charge 690.000đ to 1.600.000đ. Ask before you go in, and ask whether a service charge applies.

3. Give the exact headcount

Rooms are graded by capacity. An accurate headcount gets you the right room — too big wastes money, too small is cramped. If more people are coming, tell us and we switch the room before you arrive.

4. Peak hours

Most venues open from midday or afternoon until 02:00–04:00; open until 04:00: 356 KTV, 1127 KTV, Safari KTV, Boss KTV, Limited KTV. After 21:00 on Friday and Saturday the large rooms often sell out, so book a few hours ahead.

5. Give the address to your driver

Every venue page has the full Vietnamese address and a directions button. Show the page to your taxi or Grab driver — in Trung Son all venues are on Street 9A, so the house number is all you need.

6. Room prices exclude drinks

Published prices are for the room. Food, fruit and drinks are charged from the venue menu. For a fixed quote ahead of a business evening, send us the headcount and budget.

How to book

Pick a venue from the list, tap Book or message us on Zalo/WhatsApp with the date, time and headcount. We hold the room free, no deposit, and confirm within minutes in Vietnamese, Chinese or English.
